How to find us
The area just north of Bristol has excellent motorway access, there are five motorway junctions within 10 minutes of my home. These brief directions bring you to between 5 and 10 minutes of my home at Oldbury on Severn, please call before coming to view a vehicle and I can give you precise directions for the rest of the way, or E-mail you a clear and concise map. The junction of the M25 and the M4 is around 1 hour 20 minutes away, while Birmingham and Exeter are both only around one hour and Cardiff east is a little over half an hour away from me, for all the journey is both quick and uncomplicated. Don't be concerned about our rural location, as we have had lots of practice at talking people in if they should need it.
If you are coming from the Midlands and North follow the M5 too and leave the motorway at junction 14 for Thornbury, as you leave the motorway you turn right, after about a mile you reach a T-junction with the A38 at which you turn left towards Thornbury.
From London the M4 corridor and the South East take the M4 in the direction of Bristol to junction 20 of the M4/M5 interchange at Almondsbury just north of Bristol, from there you take the signs for the M5 and the South West to leave the M5 almost immediately at junction 16 for Filton and Thornbury, at the roundabout take the third exit for Thornbury (A38). At the M4/M5 interchange at Almondsbury you can also take the M5 in the direction of Gloucester and the Midlands to the next junction (14) leaving the M5 you turn left and at the T junction with the A38 left again, heading for Thornbury and Bristol.
From Wales's you want junction 1 of the M48, that is the Motorway Services junction just after the old Severn Bridge, if you are coming from the direction of Cardiff you take the signs M48 and Chepstow as you come up the M4; the junction is immediately after the old Bridge on the English side of the river Severn.
From the South West you take the M5 to either junction18 (Avonmouth) and the follow the A403 in the direction of Aust and from Aust the B406 in the direction of Thornbury, or you can leave the M5 at junction 16 and at the roundabout underneath the Motorway take the first left onto the A38 in the direction of Thornbury.
