Powered by the most up to date version of the superb Saab 2.3 litre double overhead camshaft High Output Turbo engine which develops 260 bhp, its specification includes; ALU 62 17" Alloy Wheels, ABS, Climate Control with Air-conditioning, drivers and front seat passengers front and side Airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), electrically adjustable driver's seat, electrically heated front seats, the Saab audio system with cd player & IPod input, electrically adjustable door mirrors, Xenon lighting, rear park assist and Roof Rails. This car has the 5 speed automatic gearbox with "paddle shift" buttons on the steering wheel for those who like to have more of an input into the vehicles choice of gear ratio.

9-5 Aero's are wonderfully relaxed to drive, especially with the automatic transmission, the combination of pace with space and comfort makes this an ideal family car for the drivers who likes to combine practicality with enjoying their driving, fuel consumption can be a lot better than the figures would suggest. Drive this car with a sympathetic right foot and you will be pleasantly surprised by the MPG figures, the low 30s are quite achievable on longer journeys.

This car has the factory fit front to back Roof Rails, many 9-5 Aero Estates of this age were manufactured without the Roof Rails and although this option was quite inexpensive if specified on the vehicle from new, retro fitting them is an expensive and difficult process costing upwards of a £1,000, now if your type of motoring does not require the use of accessories like roof boxes or ski racks, then not having these roof rails is not really an issue, however if you do, then having them makes the use of these items a whole lot easier!

To complete the package the vehicle is also fitted with a very useful and quite expensive Bossal tow bar, one with the removable towing attachment, this type of tow bar is a far better option than the ordinary fixed version, for when not in use the actual tow hook can be easily unplugged from the tow bar and stowed with the vehicles spare wheel leaving the rear of the car clear of any obstructions.

Originally supplied when new by Greenhouse Saab of Telford the car was then re-sold by St Davids Saab of Exeter in December 2007, St Davids Saab have performed both the vehicles scheduled services, the first in February 2008 at 6,691 miles and the second in February 2009 at 17,789 miles, the vehicles third service is now due and this service will be performed by Williams Automobiles of Bristol my local Saab approved and autharised service and repair dealer as part of my preparation of the car for its next owner.
