This is a very nice 9-5 Aero with a good specification that has many extra cost factory order options, these include the top specification Saab ES 53 200 watt Audio and Satellite Navigation pack, the full electric seat upgrade as there are electric seats for both the driver and front seat passenger with a memory funtion on the drivers (a standard car has only the one non memory seat for the driver) electric folding mirrors, the self dipping chromatic rear view mirror, rain sensing wipers, heated rear seats (heated front seats are standard equipment on the 9-5 Aero) and the Saab rear airfoil.
As can be seen from the images this car looks very nice indeed and has a level of specification that most used 9-5 Aero's on the market do not seem to possess. Because Saab in the last few years chose to manufacture most 9-5 Aero's with the Automatic Gearbox, cars equipped with the manual transmission can be quite hard to find, one benefit of the manual transmission is a lower CO2 emission level and therefore a significantly lower VED (road tax) charge.
Originally Supplied by Nidd Vale Saab of Harrogate, the vehicle has been serviced and maintained by Alexander's Saab the franchised Saab dealer for Thornaby-on-Tees with servicing performed at 13,038 miles (18k intermediate) in December 2007, then at 27,765 miles (36k main service) in December 2008 and most recently at 42,709 miles (54k intermediate) in December of 2009.
As part of my usual preparation of the vehicle for its next owner the vehicle will be inspected and checked over by my local Saab authorised service and repair dealer Williams Automobiles of Bristol, a copy of this report and copy invoices for any maintenance recommended by them as a result of this inspection will form part of the vehicles paperwork at handover.
With a CO2 emission level of 209 G/KM the annual rate of VED (road tax) for this vehicle is £245, a six month disc will cost £134.75
